Have you ever read the Secret Garden? This garden is the Japanese version of the English Secret Garden- twists and turns with new discoveries at every glance. Color and light pours into specific areas to reveal dramatic magic. It was truly designed by an artist.
This location is a true favorite in the fall. If you do not have the opportunity to take your portraits here I highly recommend walking its pathways in the last weeks of October. It is intimate and peaceful, especially on the weekdays. Weekends can get crowded and parking isn't easy either. Definitely worth the fight if you have no choice and need to visit on Saturday or Sunday.
Senior Portraits are so much fun to do in Kubota Garden. Especially during the month of October the colored foliage gives a fantastic background. There are many different looks that can be achieved with multiple outfits. Between the 3 bridges, water features, trees and late afternoon golden light- there is so much to work with!
This Senior was shot in early fall (second week of October). The leaves were still turning and there were more greens, yellows and light orange. However, her fall wardrobe was adorable and really brought the fall vibe.
If you look good in golden yellow, wear yellow! In the late fall colors (last week of October - first week of November) yellow "pops" off of the deep reds, oranges and dark green foliage. This family really shined with their perfect fall wardrobe.
